Assuming the cats initial velocity is 2 m/s 45 degrees above the horizontal, I am certain that the correct answer is t = [edited out - David] seconds, and your solution does not match that. Perhaps I misunderstood the problem, and if I have, then I have to admit that the wording of it is slightly ambiguous.

[Edited out - David] is actually the correct answer!! (exact answer being [Edited out - David]) Probably you did a typing error while giving answer.
The issue has already been corrected. Please do not post answers or suggested answers on this forum however, as there are lots of people still trying to solve the problems!
