If ( x + 5 ) ( 2 x 3 ) = 0 (x + 5)(2x - 3) = 0 \Rightarrow ( x + 5 = 0 x = 5 ) ( x + 5 = 0 \Rightarrow x = -5) or ( 2 x 3 = 0 x = 3 2 ) . \text{or } (2x - 3 = 0 \Rightarrow x = \frac{3}{2}).

If x = 5 x = - 5 then 2 x 3 = 13 2x -3 = -13 and if x = 3 2 x = \frac{3}{2} then 2 x 3 = 0 2x -3 = 0
