Find the number of zeros of the equation $x^{100}/x = 1$ .

Because $x^{100}/x = 1$ => $x^{100} = x$ => $x(x^{99}-1)=0$

now $x^{99}=1$ or $x=0$ . Now $x=0$ is not possible hence $x^{99}$ has $\large \boxed{99}$ zeroes.
