In cricket, the runs scored by a batsman can only be whole numbers.

So if the runs scored are r 1 r_1 and r 2 r_2 , then

r 1 + r 2 = 130 r_1 + r_2 = 130

r 1 r_1 and r 2 r_2 can take values from 0 to 130 and the answer becomes 131

If 1 batsman scores 0, then is the statement 'Two batsmen scored together 130 runs in cricket' correct ?

Yes, it should be. Even if the first player scored zero, they have played together and scored 130.

I don't think 0 will be counted, but I am not sure
