Chemistry Level 2

Which of the following is not correct:

( A ) (A) [ H + ] = [ O H ] = K w [{ H }^{ + }]=[{ OH }^{ - }]=\sqrt { { K }_{ w } } for a neutral solution at all temperatures.

( B ) (B) [ H + ] = [ O H ] = 10 7 [{ H }^{ + }]=[{ OH }^{ - }]={ 10 }^{ -7 } for a neutral solution at all temperatures.

( C ) (C) [ H + ] > K w [{ H }^{ + }]>\sqrt { { K }_{ w } } and [ O H ] < K w [{ OH }^{ - }]<\sqrt { { K }_{ w } } for an acidic solution.

( D ) (D) [ H + ] < K w [{ H }^{ + }]<\sqrt { { K }_{ w } } and [ O H ] > K w [{ OH }^{ - }]>\sqrt { { K }_{ w } } for an alkaline soluton.

Option B B is right because K w { K }_{ w } changes with temperature.

Hey, I have seen your wiki on chemical equilibrium . I think we should also add about Buffer Solutions and Ostwald's Dilution Law .
