The sum of the blue angles, is equal to the sum of the angles in the green triangles, minus the angle on the line. Hence, it is equal to

2 × 18 0 18 0 = 18 0 2 \times 180^\circ - 180^ \circ = 180^ \circ

The sum of all of the angles in both rectangles is 180 + 180 = 360. The two unshaded angles sum to a straight line (180). So the blue ones are 360 (all) - 180 (unshaded) = 180 (blue)
