We have to assume that today is 1st January 2018. This means that Robert’s eleventh birthday was on 31st December 2017. Day before yesterday, he was 10 years old, today he is 11. By the end of the current year, 2018, he will be 12 years old. And so, by the next year (i.e. in 2019), he will be 13 years old.
