The sum of both roots is 2 4 1 0 = 1 2 5 and the only alternative which gives a denominator 1 2 is " 6 7 and − 4 3 "

We know that the product of roots of a x 2 + b x + c is c / a , so multiply the denominators of the roots in options. Only 1 option leads us 2 4 . Thats the answer!
