A man is standing at a distance 5 m 5 \text{ m} from a plane mirror in front of him. He wants to see the entire wall in the mirror which is at a distance 15 m 15 \text{ m} behind the man. Find the minimum size of the mirror, if the wall is 10 m 10 \text{ m} high.

Clarification: Assume the man to be a point object.

Let the minimum size of the mirror be x x . Then we have: x 10 = 5 5 + 5 + 15 x = 2 \frac{x}{10}=\frac{5}{5+5+15}\Rightarrow x=2
