The only solution to x y = y x x^y=y^x in natural numbers is 2 4 = 4 2 2^4=4^2 .

(The proof of this by calculus appears elsewhere on Brilliant.)

Fortunately this fits the question.

Also 4^8 and 8^4 right?

We have $2^{a}a^2 = a^{a}. a^{a} $. Which implies $(2^{a} - a^{a}). a^a =0$.Which gives $2^{a} = a^{a} $. Which gives $a = 2$.
