Helicopter Problem

A helicopter-manufacturing industry, at their annual meeting, proposed to build the helicopters at a cheaper rate keeping its purpose and efficiency the same as it was before. The company has prepared two models of helicopters. Plan A has a helicopter with two propellers, and Plan B has a helicopter with one propeller. You are given the task of selecting the best one of them. Which one will you select?

Or you can do as the Soviets sometimes did and have two main propellers rotating in opposite directions. Western helicopters typically use the single-main + tail propeller arrangement.

The first one looks absolutely terrifying! 😱

A helicopter should necessarily have two propellers. If it has only one propeller, on the top, then according to the law of conservation of angular momentum the helicopter would itself rotate in the opposite direction and cannot move forward . So, helicopters made from plan B will definitely rise but they cannot move forward. Hence, it is go by normal Plan A.

I came to the right conclusion but thought you have A and B in alphabetical order and missed it.
