a bit of basic binary

In Binary, is the rule for working out if a number is divisible by 2, or in binary 10, the same as it is in the decimal system?

(little joke: there are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand this joke, and those who do not.)

This question really requires clarification about what the "rules" are. If the rule is "the units digit is even", then that could arguably be the same rule. My rule for the binary system, though, would be "the units digit is zero".

Don't apologize for the joke! In grad school, we often said "There are three types of mathematicians, those who can count, and those who can't."

As the unit digit represents 1's, and the powers of 2 are all even other than the number 1, only the unit digit will matter. As 0 is even, and so is 0 times 1, and 1 is odd, the divisibility rule still works the same way. Sorry if this isn't explained well, and feel free to add your own explanations. (Also, sorry about the joke.)
