The number of month m m in planet Brilliant must be:

365 31 < m < 365 28 11.774 < m < 13.035 \frac {365}{31} <m<\frac{365}{28} \Rightarrow 11.774 < m < 13.035

m m can either be 12 12 or 13 13 and since 13 13 is not an option in the multiple choice answer, the answer is 12 \boxed{12} .

This question was so easy that I clicked None of these...

Sometimes I guess wrongly too. That is why I dislike multiple choice problems.

I thought because it's not exactly 12 it would be "None of these" >.<

I do that sometimes when my finger slips.

Specifically, 7 months of 30 days and 5 months of 31 days.

I believe the reason it can't be 13 13 is 13 28 = 364 13\cdot 28 = 364 , and 12 28 + 30 = 366 12\cdot 28 +30 = 366 .

The planet Brilliant has almost the same amount of days as Earth and we have the length months only we add an extra day in February every 4 years.

We have 12 months in a year therefore the planet Brilliant has 12 months in a year.
