The figurw that would form is an ellipse with the major arc x- axis and major radius 3. The minor arc would be the y-axis with minor radius 6 because the guven question represents the formula of an ellipse. So, the area covered by an ellipse is π × a × b = π × 3 × 2 = 6 π \pi × a × b = \pi × 3 × 2 = \boxed{6\pi}

The two axes are simple 3 3 and 2 2 units long so the area is a b π = 6 π a b \pi = \boxed{6 \pi}

We can clearly see that its an ellipse..hence area=pi×ab=6pi. Ans.
