Two lamps, one rated 100 W at 220 V, and the other 60 W at 220 V, are connected in parallel to electric mains supply. what current is drawn from the supply line if the supply voltage is 220 V ?

(R1 = V^2/100) & (R2 = V^2/60) Now finding R-Total = (R1*R2/R1+R2) Now Dividing V-Supply (220v) by R-Total to get ("8/11" = 0.7272727272727272727272773)
