Consider a small object placed parallel to the axis of a transparent cylinder ( μ = 1.5 ) (\mu = 1.5) as shown. The image is normal shifted towards observer by 2 3 m \dfrac 2 3 \text{ m} . Now object is held perpendicular to axis as in figure ( i i ) (ii) . Find the final location of image w.r.t. axis of cylinder (in m \text{m} ).
