Pure rotational dynamics

Two children are balanced on a seesaw, but one child weighs twice as much as the other child. The heavier child is sitting half as far from the pivot as is the lighter child. Since the seesaw is balanced, the heavier child is exerting on the seesaw ___________ \text{\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_} .

a torque that is less than the torque the lighter child is exerting a force that is equal in amount but oppositely directed to the force the lighter child is exerting a force that is less than the torque the lighter child is exerting. torque that is equal in amount but oppositely directed to the torque the lighter child is exerting.

torque = Moment of inertia * angular acceleration . As question says "Two children are balanced on a seesaw,but one child weighs twice as much as the other child. The heavier child is sitting half as far from the pivot as is the lighter child." { For heavier kid } torque = F * perp. distance from line of action of force to centre of mass = (2m *a) (r/2) ( for lighter kid ) torque = ma * r

So what do you mean and how is it related to the question? \text { So what do you mean and how is it related to the question? }
