There are 30 ! 30! way to seat the people. However, there are 30 rotations which do not count distinct. Hence the answer is 30 ! 30 = 29 ! \frac{30!}{30}=29! .

This is a circular permutation so the number of ways of arranging 30 elements is ( 30 1 ) ! = 29 ! (30-1)! = 29!
