Spelling Mistake to a company... Wow.

Which company's name is derived from a spelling mistake made by the child of a mathematician based in California? The actual spelling of that word can be expressed as a b {a}^{b} Find a + b a+b .

Details and Assumptions

  • a , b N a,b\in \mathbb{N}
  • 100 < a + b < 140 100<a+b<140

The answer is 110.

The company is 'Google' derived from 'Googol' which means 1 0 100 10^{100} . Thus, 10 + 100 = 110 10+100=110

@Mehul Arora I think 1 0 100 = 10 0 50 10^{100}=100^{50} , thus, 100 + 50 = 150 100+50=150 can also be the answer.
