A what-byte?

One petabyte is equivalent to how many bytes?

1 0 12 10^{12} 2 20 2^{20} 2 100 2^{100} 2 60 2^{60} 1 0 15 10^{15} 2 10 2^{10} 2 30 2^{30}

In the SI, "peta" would mean 1 0 15 10^{15} .

It's actually wrong. One kilobyte is actually equal to 2 10 = 1024 2^{10} = 1024 , not 1000 1000 bytes. One megabyte is 2 20 = 1048576 2^{20} = 1048576 , not 1000000 1000000 bytes. So for petabyte, it would actually be 2 50 = 1125899906842624 2^{50} = 1125899906842624 bytes, not 1 0 15 = 10^{15} = 1 quadrillion bytes. It's not far from the actual answer, but it's still wrong because you said 'equivalent to' in the problem.
