A duck was given $9, a spider was given $36, a bee was given $27. Based off of this information, how much money would be given to a cat?

So the order REALLY matters!

I did a used an unlikely guess of a pattern and got it correct. (It took me one try magically)

My first pattern I devised was that 36= 4 times 9, 9 = 9 times 1, 27 = 9 times 3 so the next one would be 9 times 2 =18. To add on its stability, I saw that 2 alternating terms (in regards with 9 times x[referring to x]) differ by 2. So 36 ( 9 20 ) = 18 36 - (9*20) = 18
