The very easy one! 1/2x-7=0

1/2x-7+7=7

1/2x=7

2(1/2x)=2(7)

x=14

Please change the notation to 1 2 x 7 = 0 \frac12x-7=0 .

Using the slash makes it unclear if the x x is to be included in the denominator.

I think this question is wrong as the ans should have been 1/14.and not 14

Problem is that it reads like 1 divided by 2x but it was meant to be (1/2)x. Line spacing format caused confusion
