Let y y = 2 x x => x x = y 2 \frac{y}{2} .

f ( 2 x ) f(2x) = 2 2 + x \frac{2}{2 + x} => f ( y ) f(y) = 2 2 + 0.5 y \frac{2}{2 + 0.5y} = 4 4 + y \frac{4}{4 + y} => f ( x ) f(x) = 4 4 + x \frac{4}{4 + x} . 2 f ( x ) 2f(x) = 2 * 4 4 + x \frac{4}{4 + x} = 8 4 + x \frac{8}{4 + x} .

So the answer is (E).
