A standard deck of cards, with no Jokers, is shuffled thoroughly. The top card is dealt and it is red.

Someone then offers you to bet at even odds that the bottom card is black. Should you take the bet?

There are 51 cards remaining in the deck, of which 26 are black. So you would lose the bet 26 times and win it 25 times on average.
