Let V Y VY and X Z XZ intersect at point O O .

V O X X Y O = 825 427 = V O O Y \frac{\triangle VOX}{\triangle XYO }=\frac{825}{427}=\frac{VO}{OY}

Triangles X Y O XYO and V O Z VOZ have all their angles equal therefore are similar. Their corresponding sides are in the same ratio 825 427 \frac{825}{427} and their areas are in the ratio ( 825 427 ) 2 (\frac{825}{427})^2 . V O Z = ( V O O Y ) 2 X Y O = ( 825 427 ) 2 × 427 = 680625 427 1593.97 \triangle VOZ=( \frac{VO}{OY} )^2 \triangle XYO= (\frac{825 }{427})^2 \times 427= \frac{680625} {427} \approx 1593.97
