Below are two parallel lines with a third line intersecting them.

If we know that the blue angle is 128 , what is the measure of angle x?

These two angles form a pair of interior angles on the same side of the transversal.

Such angles always sum up to $180 ^\circ$ .

So ,

$128^\circ$ $+$ $x^\circ$ $=$ $180^\circ$

$x^\circ$ $=$ $180^\circ$ $-$ $128^\circ$ $=$ $52^\circ$

Hence , $x^\circ$ $=$ $52^\circ$ $.$
