in triangle A B C ABC , the angle at A A is three times the size of that at B B and half the size of the angle at C C . what is the angle at A A ?

eq. 1: A = 3B...eq. 2: A = C/2...by comparison of eq. 1 and eq. 2, we get eq. 3: c = 6B ...... eq. 4: A+B+C = 180. substitute eq. 1 and eq. 3 to eq. 4,we have 3B + B + 6B = 180. so B = 18. substitute B= 18 to eq. 1 we get A = 54.

This was a very silly question................

from question A = 3B A = C / 2 A + B + C = 180 A + A /3 + 2A = 180 A = 54
