A homogeneous mixture

Chemistry Level 1

The particles of X in water can not be seen even with microscope. It forms homogeneous transparent mixture and no residue is left on filter paper on filtration. Particles do not settle down due to gravity. X could be:

Sulphur in water detergent in water Egg albumin in water Sodium chloride dissolved in water

As it cant be filtered so it is a solution.

But that's not correct. If you filter NaCl-Solution, a tiny bit of it stays in the paper. When you dry this residue, NaCl remains as a solid. It may be my lacking english, but IMHO the question is not clearly stated.
