john put a bacterium which doubles its no. during one minute in a beaker at ''1.01'' and he found that at 2'0' clock the beaker was filled .After how many minutes the bacteria fills the half beaker!

Since the bacteria doubles every minute and also since at the 6 0 t h 60^{th} minute the jar is full , at the 5 9 t h 59^{th} minute the jar must have been half full.
