My mother gave me a 7m by 9m piece of cloth. Then she asked me to cut 2m by 2m squares from the cloth. How many 2m by 2m cloth can I cut from the original piece? Note: You can't stitch smaller pieces to recreate a 2m by 2m piece.

Since you can't stitch smaller pieces to form a new piece of cloth.. the maximum number of pieces of cloth that you can create is 3 (2m. from 7m.) x 4 (2m. from 9m.) = 12.
