There were two hundred legs when counted in a farm.....there was a combination of animals i.e. x number of chicks, y number of hens , z number of girls.....what is x+y+z ?

2(x+y+z)=200 hence x+y+z=100

This solution implies that there were no legs included in the count that did not belong to chicks, hens or girls. Since there was an ellipsis included, there might be more animals included, such as cows or horses. In which case the answer would be "data inadequate".

Ques clearly states that there was a combination of animals which included chicks,hens and girls only.By the way girls are also not aninals ....I Think!!! Or may be social animals
