Let the minutes to 6 o'clock be x
hence 6h -x min
now for 50 minutes ago 6h - x min -50 min
as the minutes are 4 times; for equality 3h + 4x = 6h -x min - 50 min
solving 3h = 5x+50
converting hours to minutes 180 = 5 (x+10)
x+10 = 36
x = 2 6
