A classical mechanics problem by Faysal Ishtiaq Rabby

Say, there is a planet that is a perfect circle and has a surface gravity of 10.00 m/s^2 . If we create a panel along the diameter of the planet and drop a ball from the surface level through the panel . Say, in the panel, there is no force but gravity. What will happen ?

The ball will reach the opposite surface. The ball will act like a bob of simple pendulum The ball will reach the center of the planet The ball will act like a particle of damped harmonic motion
