A classical mechanics problem by Vikram Singh

Classical Mechanics Level pending

A bob moves in a horizontal circle at constant speed. (The cord sweeps out a cone as the bob rotates.) The bob has a mass of m = 0.06 kg , the string has length L = 1.3 m and negligible mass, and the bob follows a circular path of radius r = 0.5 m .

Q : What are the tension in the string ?

12.4 N 0.65 N 7.2 N 4.85 N

T sin(x)=mg,where t->tension,x is the angle between them,sin(x)=sqrt(1-(r)^2/(l)^2). Find T.
