A classical mechanics problem by Vikram Singh

Classical Mechanics Level pending

A bob moves in a horizontal circle at constant speed. (The cord sweeps out a cone as the bob rotates.) The bob has a mass of m = 0.06 kg , the string has length L = 1.3 m and negligible mass, and the bob follows a circular path of radius r = 0.5 m .

Q : The speed of the motion is b 3 a \frac{b\sqrt{3}}{a} .

Find a+b .

The answer is 11.

T cos(x)=(m(v)^2)/r,where T-> Tension,x the angle between them.Tension was asked in the previous problem,which turned out to be 0.65.Find v and express in (b sqrt(3)/a form,and hence find a+b.
