Firstly we evaluate the » usages in the innermost brackets

$2»\infty = 2$

$3»\infty = 1.5$

$0.5»2 = 7$

Now, we have :

$(2)»(2(1.5)) (7+1)$

$= (2»3) (8)$

$= (1+1/2+1/4+1/8)(8)$

$=(15/8)(8)$

$=15$
