Firstly we evaluate the » usages in the innermost brackets

2 » = 2 2»\infty = 2

3 » = 1.5 3»\infty = 1.5

0.5 » 2 = 7 0.5»2 = 7

Now, we have :

( 2 ) » ( 2 ( 1.5 ) ) ( 7 + 1 ) (2)»(2(1.5)) (7+1)

= ( 2 » 3 ) ( 8 ) = (2»3) (8)

= ( 1 + 1 / 2 + 1 / 4 + 1 / 8 ) ( 8 ) = (1+1/2+1/4+1/8)(8)

= ( 15 / 8 ) ( 8 ) =(15/8)(8)

= 15 =15
