First subtract 1 from the year i.e. 504-1=503 then divide it by 400 and the remainder would be the year index in this case, it is 103. Now, divide the year index by 4 as well as 100, and find the difference between the quotient of the two i.e. 25-1=24. It will be leap year index. Now, calculate the number of days from 1st January to 22nd November i.e. 31+29+31+30+31+30+31+31+30+31+22=327 Now, add the year index, leap year index and the number of days i.e. 327+103+24=454 Now, divide it by 7 and find the remainder obtain, in this case 6 that is Saturday
