mike the farmer sold a certain number of chickens to four customers in a single day. It was such that each of the customers bought half of the remaining chickens plus a half chicken more. How many chickens did the farmer sell in total that day if the last customer bought 1 chicken?

since the last customer bought 1 chicken therefore, (total) - (total /2 + 1/2) = 1 on solving four equations we'll get the final value 15
