This is similar to Gauss famous story at school, with the exception that sums will start with 99+1, 98+2... + 50.

100+99+98+97+96..+5+4+3+2+1=5050 Lol Or n(n-1)/2

The 100th person only shakes 99 other hands. The sum should be till 99, and not 100.
