√15864289 instead of finding the answer, as options are given

900² ends with 0

789² ends with 1

so answer is either 2073 or 3983 square ending with 9

consider 2073² is less than 2100² = 4410000 the answer is 7 digit and number given is 15864289 is of 8 digits

only possible answer is 3983

the product has 8 digits, so the answer (the square root) usually has 4. 4000 x 4000 = 16000000, so this is the closest to that. Also 3x3=9 for the last digit
