The difference between each term is the next square number. 1, 1+4=5 ,5+9=14 ,14+16=30 , 30+25=55

1 + 2^2 = 5

5 + 3^2 = 14

14 + 4^2 = 30

so next terms is , 30 + 5^2 = 55
