A Paint Brush

When a paint brush is inside a liquid paint, the bristles of the brush move freely. When the brush is taken out of the paint, the bristles stick together.

Why?

Surfaces are formed between bristles. To minimize the area of these surfaces, they stick together. To make the brush charge neutral. It is the property of the liquid to ensure that the bond between the materials remains intact.
