So, the series goes as follows...

2*3=6

3*4=12

5*6=30

And so on..

Multiplying a prime number with its successor.

The first term in each term of the multiplication is a prime.i.e.2,3,5,7,11....

Hence the next numbers are 13 X 14=182 and 17 X 18=306.

Adding these two, we get our answer that is 488

Since

6= 2 2 2^2 +2

12= 3 2 3^2 +3

30= 5 2 5^2 +5

56= 7 2 7^2 +7

132= 1 1 2 11^2 +11

Since the bases are primes

Therefore a & b are 1 3 2 13^2 +13 & 1 7 2 17^2 +17 respectively

Therefore a+b=182+306= 488 \boxed{488}
