So, the series goes as follows...

2*3=6

3*4=12

5*6=30

And so on..

Multiplying a prime number with its successor.

The first term in each term of the multiplication is a prime.i.e.2,3,5,7,11....

Hence the next numbers are 13 X 14=182 and 17 X 18=306.

Adding these two, we get our answer that is 488

Since

6= $2^2$ +2

12= $3^2$ +3

30= $5^2$ +5

56= $7^2$ +7

132= $11^2$ +11

Since the bases are primes

Therefore a & b are $13^2$ +13 & $17^2$ +17 respectively

Therefore a+b=182+306= $\boxed{488}$
