since AB and AC are two tangents from a common exterior point, therefore, AB=AC=5 cm. Let BP= x and CQ= y Now, AP+x=5 x=5-AP.........1 Similarly, y=5-AQ..........2 Since BP and PX are tangents from P, PX=x Similalry, QX=y Now , perimeter of triangle= AP +AQ + PX + QX = AP + AQ + 5-AP + 5-AQ = 10 cm
