The figure above shows a square ABCD of side length 12.
A quarter circle of radius 6 is inscribed in it such.
Line MN is tangent to the quarter circle such that CM and CN are equidistant.

Find the area of the triangle MNC.


The answer is 36.

You have given an extra information triangle MNC will have the same area for any side length of square provided the side >or= CN or CM
