A cylinder is 24 inches tall and has a circumference of 15 inches. A rope is wrapped around it exactly 3 times, connecting a point on the upper rim to the lower rim. What is the length in inches of the rope?

If we unravel the cylinder, we have three 8-15-17 right triangles with the rope being the 17, so 3 17 = 51 3\cdot17 = 51
