The sum of even numbers from 2-44 is the same as the sum of all numbers from 1-22 multiplied by 2, since we can factor it out, We can use the formula for summation of numbers to get ( 2 ) 2 ( 2 2 ) ( 2 3 ) = ( 2 2 ) ( 2 3 ) = 5 0 6
