Shown above, angle AED = 90º, angle BED = 40º, and angle AEC = 75º. What is the measure of angle BEC?

AED is 90 and BED is 40.

That means that AEB is 50 (AED - BED = 90 - 40 = 50).

The measure of BEC is AEC - AEB = 75 - 50 = 25

then CED must be 90-75=15

Thus BEC must be 40-15=25

90- (AEB+CED)= 90-65=25

<bed>is 40 so <aeb>is 50 &<aec>is 75 so < ced> is 15 ,,so <bec>is {90-(50+15)}= 25

x+y+z=90; x+y=75; y+z=40. Solving the system, have y=25.

From right angle AED ,by subtraqctingBED 40 degree,we get angle AEB = 50 degree. Subtracting from 75 degree we get angle BEC + 25 degree Ans. K.K.GARG,India

AEC=75,AEB=50,then THE ANSWER is 75-50=25

40 + 75=115 - 90=25
