In general the velocity required to launch a rocket against gravitational force is 11.2 km/sec . suppose if i throw a ball with a velocity of 11.2 km/sec upwards can it reach the space?

it overcomes the gravitational force and goes into space it has constant veocity and it goes into space it's velocity decreases gradually and it cannot reach the space its velocity decreases gradually but it can reach the space
