Let Harsh palan had Rs. x at starting After first temple he will have double of money he had from god's blessing and -100 i.e. 2x - 100 After second temple (we will repeat the procedure) ==> 2(2x - 100) - 100 = 4x - 300 After third temple (we will repeat the procedure) ==> 2(4x - 300) - 100 = 8x - 700 After fourth temple (we will repeat the procedure) ==> 2(8x - 700) - 100 = 16x - 1500 It is given that he had left with nothing ===> 16x - 1500 = 0 ===> 16x = 1500 x=93.5
